Vinicius Junior threatens a historic departure from Real Madrid and Arsenal awaits the green light
Sources close to the club Real Madrid revealed worrying details about the future of the first team star Vinicius Junior, as negotiations to renew his contract with the royal club entered into a real crisis that may end with the departure of the Brazilian player in a deal that is... The largest in the club's history, especially with Arsenal strongly entering the negotiations line.
A renewal crisis extending for a year and a half
Contract renewal negotiations began Vinicius with Real Madrid more than a year and a half ago, and despite all this time, no final agreement has been reached between the two parties. The crisis becomes more serious as the player's contract approaches its end in the summer of 2027, which means that there is only one season left before the player becomes free to sign for any club without returning to the Royal Club.
Reasons for tension between Vinicius and Mbappe
The report indicates that last season was a negative turning point in the career of Vinicius with Real Madrid, as the team witnessed "zero titles", in addition to the emergence of clear signs of misunderstanding between the Brazilian star. And his French colleague Kylian Mbappe.
This estrangement was not only technical on the field, but extended to communication inside the locker rooms, which made the fans adopt the conviction that the two stars are “two parallel lines that do not meet,” given the difference in their personalities and their artistic and financial demands. This tension between two of the best players in the world has become a major challenge for the club management in maintaining harmony within the team.
Salary cap conflict between club and player
Real Madrid is adhering to a strict policy in the salary scale, as it refuses to break the barrier of 20 million euros annually for any player, which is the ceiling that was set to maintain the club's financial stability and prevent any imbalance in the salary structure.
On the other hand, Vinicius is demanding a wage of up to 30 million euros, basing his ambition on what his teammate Mbappe who joined the team on a free transfer receives. But the club management justifies that Mbappe does not receive this salary as a basic wage, but rather received a huge signing bonus as a result of his coming for free, a detail that Vinicius refuses to accept as an argument, considering that he deserves to be equal to his French colleague in financial compensation.
Arsenal enters the line strongly
In a surprising development, informed sources revealed that the management of Arsenal the Londoner decided to storm the file of Vinicius strongly, giving the green light to the negotiating team to begin official contacts with the player and his agent. For his part,Vinicius was open to the idea of having a new experience in London if the path of renewal with Real Madrid continues blocked.
Arsenal tempts the player with several benefits, most notably being the first star and the main focus of the coach's project Mikel Arteta, in addition to a huge salary that exceeds the usual salary scale in the London club, which may constitute a great temptation for the Brazilian player who feels that His artistic value is not reflected in the value of his current contract.
The strategic dimension of Vinicius' departure
Analysts believe that continuing Vinicius with Real Madrid is a long-term investment that guarantees him global stardom and huge advertising contracts, similar to what happened with previous stars. Like Thierry Henry or Toni Kroos, where the Royal Club shirt gives him incomparable marketing value after retirement.
On the other hand, Vinicius may lose this advantage if he leaves for another project such as Arsenal, where he may not receive the same level of global exposure and media attention that he does. Stars of Real Madrid. But on the other hand, he may find in Arsenal a different environment that gives him complete freedom to express his potential without the need to adapt to another star the size of Mbappe.
Florentino Perez's decisive position
The final decision remains in the hands of the club president Florentino Pérez, who is considered the player's first and biggest supporter, given his decisive contributions to achieving the last two Champions League titles. Perez is fully aware of the Vinicius technical and marketing value, but at the same time he is committed to the club's financial policy that does not allow breaking the salary cap.
"The coming days will be very decisive, as either a renewal that ends the controversy, or the deal of the century that will change the balance of power in the Mercato"
Summary
Real Madrid and its counterpart Arsenal are at a crucial crossroads regarding the future of Vinicius Junior, as the coming days are shaping up to be decisive in the fate of the Brazilian player. Either the Royal Club will succeed in convincing its star to continue by meeting its financial demands, or it will be forced to think about dispensing with one of its most important players in a deal that may be the largest in the history of the London club.
